RTG was incorporated in 2002 for the purpose of establishing a Registered Training Organisation that would focus on the assessment and certifying of technical rescue courses. RTG is registered with the Department of Employment and Training, QLD and is licensed to deliver training and assessment in States and Territories of Australia.

| SWIFTWATER RESCUE COURSES | |
The three courses are designed to cover the necessary knowledge and skill required of people who undertake activities on or near moving water. Participants generally include, recreational paddlers & bushwalkers, professional river guides & instructors, and emergency response personnel.

The two rope rescue courses are designed to cover the necessary knowledge and skills required of people who undertake involving heights and technical rope work. Participants generally include, recreational climbers & abseilers, professional climbing / abseiling instructors, professional outdoor adventure guides & instructors, mountaineers, scientists and emergency response personnel.

This first level of the rope access course is designed to cover the knowledge and skills required of people undertaking work on either artificial or natural surfaces with the use of rope systems that comply with Australian Standards. Unlike other courses on the market his course is unique in the fact that it includes Units of Competency that actually relate to the knowledge and skills involved in this type of work.
