Saturday March 27, 20:30 - 21:30
Brisbane City Council is once again supporting Earth Hour and encouraging Brisbane residents and businesses to switch off their non-essential lighting between 8.30pm and 9.30pm on Saturday 27 March as a pledge of support for action on climate change.
Council will also be observing Earth Hour by turning off non-essential lights on landmarks such as Kangaroo Point Cliffs, the Story Bridge, William Jolly Bridge, Victoria Bridge, Brisbane Planetarium, and Brisbane Powerhouse.
If you are planning activities for Saturday evening please be prepared - have a torch handy, just in case. Please advise your own members and contacts. Thank you.
NOTE: Climbing at Kangaroo Point may not be safe during this hour.
Show your support for Earth Hour by turning off all non-essential lights and appliances.
